On Friday the 23rd we awoke to about 4" of snow....... after having some great mid-70 deg days !!! BUT it was beautiful.... I even got up early with all the other animals to enjoy the crisp, cool morning.....
We had snow & ice along with fog and sunshine breaking thru !On Thurs, just before sunset BV had to go out n check the levels of the creek & for debris.... it had started sleeting even then... he came back just soaked !!!
So.... Fri morning we went back & checked the diversion .... the debris buildup got so bad, had to get the backhoe out ... big logs & trees got jammed in the spillway... our hooks just couldn't pull it loose !
All along the waterways that are flowing, we have to check the inlets/outlets for debris several times a day..... as well as read the water flow gauges, and check readings on the wells. 
So.... as with the nice warm, sunny days..... we were out doing our duties in the snow..... BV's just chomping at the bit to wear shorts.... not long pants, boots, coat & gloves !!!!
As for me...... I'm loving it.....
