What's in Golden, Colorado ?

One of our sidetrips was leaving Creede and visiting Breckenridge - a quaint tourist town & famous winter ski area. We walked the streets, did some shopping and just enjoyed the area.

Then driving east we were going thru Golden and remembered.... the Coor's Brewery was here.... so we took the free tour !

This big tank sits at the entrance to the main facility....

The tour was self guiding and explained the history, the various ingrediants, processing and all the products that were made at the plant. On this day they were processing cases of both Keystone and Coors Light.
An interesting note.... we found out that since they were processing & packaging both types of beer at the same time.... both were from the same batch ! Sooo.... Keystone and Coors Light are basically the same beer ......
And of course.... the final stop was at the tasing room !!! We were able to
sample 3 different types..... I liked the Blue Moon with a twist of orange !
